Hopefully you've decided you'd be interested in joining MCM. Characters are generally granted after successful application, and as such, that's what this page is for.

• Application Form - Long Use this if you are a completely new player, or the admin have otherwise told you to use this form (such as if you are looking for a special character).
• Application Form - Short Use this if you are already a player and have a character on the MUSH. Many returning players can also use this application even if they have no characters currently on the MUSH (check with staff if you are not certain this is OK).
• Application Tips For Newcomers - If you're a newcomer to the MUSH, be sure to take a look here. It has some of the common pitfalls for people trying to apply. It would be a good idea for current and returning players to take a look, too.
• Sample Applications This is a sampling of some of our best applications. While most players do not need to have an application this good, we thought it best to show some of the best, as opposed to the bare minimum.

PLEASE LEAVE ALL QUESTIONS IN THE APPLICATION YOU ARE SENDING IN. This helps character staff keep track of things while your application is processed. Not doing this may cause delays. The easiest way to do this is simply to copy and paste the entire application form into Notepad or another text editor, and write them there.

If you feel you must use Wordpad, or a full word processor such as Word or OpenOffice.org Writer, then at the end of writing your app, copy and paste it into Notepad and send that. We do not want additional formatting - plain text is how we receive apps, and submitting it in something other than that may cause delays or may result in a request to send it again in plain text.
